Baghdad, 2001.
Laftah was born from a story long before it became a house.
I was born in Baghdad during a time when uncertainty was part of everyday life. My earliest memories were shaped not by luxury, but by resilience, family, and the quiet strength of those around me.
Even in difficult moments, beauty still existed: in craftsmanship, in tradition, and in the dignity of people who refused to lose their identity.
What is hidden is not gone. It is waiting.
Years later, that search for a future became a journey across borders. From Iraq to Syria, and eventually through Turkey, Greece, Romania, Hungary, and Germany, before finally reaching Belgium. Every step carried both loss and hope.
I arrived in Europe with little certainty, but with a deep belief that a new life could be built through discipline, creativity, and purpose.
Seven borders. One belief.
Fashion became the language through which I could express that vision.
I dedicated myself to learning every stage of the craft, from design and pattern making to tailoring and construction, believing that true luxury begins with patience, precision, and respect for craftsmanship.
Precision, stitched by hand.
Alongside fashion, I developed a deep appreciation for jewellery. I became fascinated by its ability to outlive generations, preserving memories and carrying meaning long after trends have disappeared. To me, jewellery is not simply an ornament; it is a symbol of legacy, identity, and family. That philosophy naturally became part of Laftah.
Every piece, made by hand.
Luxury should have meaning before status.
Every future creation is designed to tell a story. Every suit. Every piece of jewellery. Every collection. Every detail.
They are created to become part of someone's legacy, rather than simply something they own.
Inspired by heritage, architecture, craftsmanship, and timeless design, Laftah is dedicated to creating objects that can be treasured, remembered, and passed from one generation to the next.
Every detail, a decision.
Laftah is only at the beginning of its journey.
Laftah was born from a journey shaped by change, survival, and rebuilding.
Founded on values of family, respect, and freedom of identity,
the house stands for quiet strength and purposeful design.
Laftah does not follow trends
it follows character.
The first collection has not yet been revealed.
